My sweet little love,
I can't believe you are already a month old! Time has flown since you were born. What's even crazier is that this same week as your month old birthday is also the week you were supposed to be born. You are such a miracle! You came a whole month early and you were absolutely perfect. Those little lungs were strong and we were so thankful that you did not even have to spend one day in the NICU!
Your daddy and I love you so much, we can't even believe how much. We love to just hold you and stare at you. You are the cutest little guy. With a head full of thick dark hair, it makes the perfect snuggle spot. And you are so tiny! Tiny little hands, fingers and toes. People tell us all the time how little you are, and we are trying to cuddle and hold you as much as we can while you are such a little bit! I call you my snuggle buddy.
Even though you're so tiny still, it's amazing how much of a little man you look like sometimes. When you're trying to wake up you show us so many expressions on your face. From the puckered lips, to the furrowed forehead you definitely make some funny faces.
We love your noises too. You snort like a pig when you're mad about something, and your cries sound more like sqeaks and squeals than anything else. You also do this funny grunting noise that cracks us up because we tend to make the same noise ourselves. It's fun to see bits of both of us when we watch you. I wonder so much what you're going to be like when you grow up.
We pray for you every day. That you will one day grow up to love and know God with all your heart. That you will be respectful and kind and have a joy for life and people. As amazing as it was to see and experience God form you perfectly in my womb, how much more exciting it will be to watch him mold and make your personality.
Little bit, we are so thankful for you! You have changed our lives for the better and added so many laughs, smiles and joy to our home. Happy one month birthday little one...dad and I love you so much!

LOL! I LOVE it!!! I love the photos and the note and prayer and everything. So sweet. This is my favorite, "We pray for you every day. Tristan is so blessed to have such wonderful, loving parents. :)
