Great News at 33 Weeks!

Today we got some WONDERFUL news at my sonogram this morning! Last week it seems that my cervix had pretty much vanished, and this week it's back to 24 cm or mm whatever they measure in! I was shocked and thrilled at the same time. This is absolutely nothing less than God's continued faithfulness to us and an answer to many of our prayers. Thank you so much for joining with us in prayer!

My most recent prayer has been that God would keep this little one inside me until he's developed enough not to have to go to NICU. I know it's still a possibility, but this news today is to me another sign of God's provision and protection for Tristan. I'm so thankful to serve a God who cares about us and creates and controls every part of making this sweet little child.

So, new plan for now is one more week of bed rest in the hospital. Next Thursday, I'll have another sonogram and if my cervix hadn't shortened again, Dr. Smith will let me go home on bed rest. I'm not counting on anything at this point, but I'm hopeful to maybe get the chance to go home for a while.

I just checked your blog for the first time in awhile... and of course I read it through tears. Part of it being because God is good, another because of our experience with Gloria and then another b/c of pregnancy hormones. Know that I am continually lifting up little Tristan's fragile life and your fragile heart. Oh I just picture his tiny body.. being protected by not just your body (that could possibly fail him) but by his Creator!! I pray you continue to trust Tristan's life into His hands! And I pray you find rest in the midst of this wild ride.
Love, Kaye
