Sharing Our Joy....

...because it's a BOY!!!

That's right...come November we'll have ourselves a little baby boy! I couldn't believe it today and can't even begin to describe the joy it was to see our little boy. The pure love we both feel for him already. It's so surreal to me that we know for certain now what we're having! The most amazing thing was seeing him on that screen moving around! I felt like I was meeting him for the first time. Those precious tiny feet and hands, seeing his perfectly formed spine and body...just makes me so so thankful for God's goodness to us. We really get to start our family...how cool is that?! Already I feel like I know him so much better just being able to call him little dude and talk to him knowing what he is. Today was one of those once in a lifetime moments you thank God for. The complete miracle of life is amazing! Like your wedding day, going to Six Flags or Disney as a kid, that same kind of happy, exciting, joyful you could burst type moment. Justin and I were in awe of our little guy the whole time.

Meet our little guy!!!This afternoon was full of fun phone calls and sharing our good news with family and friends. It was especially fun to go to my brother's house to tell my nephew Wilson that he would have his first boy cousin! He was thrilled to say the least. Our little guy will look up to Wilson so much and probably want to be just like him! Tonight we had a little party for the people in our lifegroup to share the good news. They were all shocked! We already have so many baby boys in our group they thought surely we couldn't be having another! Surprise to us all! He will be so blessed with lots of little buddies from our group! It was so fun to have them come and share in our excitement. I go to bed now exhausted but completely content and thankful (I wish there were a word that meant thankful to the umpteenth degree, I would use it now). Thank you God for a healthy precious baby boy!
