Celebrating 60 Years of Memories

This New Year's Day, my dad celebrated his 60th Birthday!!! Mom, Shayne and I threw him a birthday bash at mom and dad's house to celebrate DAD and sixty years of sweet memories. It was fun to meet lots of mom and dad's friends from church and see family and old friends who came to show Dad their love. I love you Dad, it was an honor to help celebrate YOU on New Year's Day!
Here's the movie I made for Dad to play at the party. It was SO fun digging through tubs of old pictures, lots of good memories. Look how cute dad looks as a little boy!

Look at your party planning skills! VERY impressed! I'm so glad you did something so special for your daddy! And, it looks like you all had a great Xmas too. Wesleigh and Wilson are TOO big...I can't belive that we were in college when we went to her FIRST birthday party! ... And, about our plate tradtion...I decided that every year, my kid(s) will make a dish and they will all eventually be our Christmas dishes. For now, I'll help make it...but when he's 3ish, I'll let him start scribbling on the plate and making it his own! :) Thought it would make for a really fun table! Love ya...it has been TOO long since I've seen you. Can we get togther soon?

And yes, we've got to get together. Any day next week good for you? Afternoon or evening works for us. We could even do dinner to include the boys if we want. Ha!
